August 2nd, 1997-

The rally is gaining lots of steam and momentum as August 15 rapidly approaches. The rally will be held on the morning of Aug. 15, 1997 from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. outside the Eagle Studios on Las Colinas in Irving. Kathy and Kelly from Save Our Stern have been working very hard for the past several weeks; I just joined up with them about 2 weeks ago.

I expect to arrive in Dallas on aug. 12, and I want to meet as many of you Dallas fans as possible prior to the rlly on Aug. 15. Stay tuned to melroselarry.com for more details- I will be bringing the laptop with me, so we can all meet up. Metroplex Sundown magazine will be running a full page ad for the rally during the week of the rally, and I want to thank them for their cooperation. VideoBob from the Church of Howard Stern has also been working hard; any of you who have ideas or want to healp should E-mail me. All help and ideas are welcome. The purpose of this rally is to show Howard, the media, and the rest of the Dallas community and the entire country that Dallas fans mean business and want their show back. Remember Dallas fans, YOU made Howard # 1, and YOU deserve to have the show back on the air immediately. Bring signs, banners, dress sexy girls, I don't care... just COME TO THE RALLY.

I haven't selected a hotel yet- if any of you have connections at the Four Seasons, maybe you could come through for me. I must stay at a nice hotel- no Red Roof Inns or Motel 6's for the melrose.meister.

I love barbecue, and I plan on going to Doug's, Austin's, and White Rock. I want to see Deep Bellum and Lower Greenville. They tell me there are boat rides on the canal. Maybe we can all go on a boat ride on one of the nights before the rally. It should be a lot of fun. Dallas fans- don't be depressed. If you think positive and believe, Howard will come back into your homes, cars,and office real soon. See you on the 15th, folks.
